My journey with Russian language teaching
Teaching Russian
My name is Petr. I’m a language teacher specializing in Russian for foreigners. I graduated from Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University, where I studied the theory and practice of teaching foreign languages. Later, I completed my specialization in Russian as a foreign language at Lomonosov Moscow State University, at the Institute of Russian Language and Culture. This education gave me a strong foundation and a clear understanding of how the Russian language works — and how to explain it to learners with different linguistic backgrounds.
Over the years, I've worked with hundreds of students at all levels—from complete beginners taking their first steps with the Cyrillic alphabet, to advanced learners refining their fluency and cultural understanding.
My teaching philosophy is simple: learning a language should be clear, structured, and enjoyable. I break down complex grammar into manageable steps and provide practical examples from real-life situations.
